PSL 8 Anthem, Singers names revealed

Festival of HBL PSL8 is going to be held from February 13 this month, host Multan Sultan and defending champion Lahore Qalandars will compete in first match

Organizers of Pakistan Super League (PSL) announced the names of the singers who will sing the HBL PSL 8 anthem.

2 pop singers and 2 rappers have been selected for HBL PSL8. Singer Shay Gill, who rose to fame with the song Pasuri from Coke Studio Season 8, will also unleash her vocal magic for the first time in a PSL song.

In a post shared on PSL’s Twitter handle, Shay Gill is all set to lend his voice to the HBL PSL 8 anthem. How excited are you?

Asim Azhar, the famous singer of Pakistani music industry, is also among the singers who sang the PSL anthem for the second time. Earlier in 2020, Asim Azhar was also part of the team that sang the PSL 6 anthem “Tiyar Ho”, although the audience did not like the song and the song faced severe criticism.

Rapper and actor Faris Shafi will also perform the magic of his voice in the PSL 8 anthem.

Singer, songwriter and producer Abdullah Siddiqui, who composed the music for the famous song Pasuri of Coke Studio Season 14, is also a part of this anthem as a producer and singer.

It should be noted that the festival of HBL PSL 8 is going to be held from February 13 this month. In the first match, hosts Multan Sultan and defending champions Lahore Qalandars will compete.
