Pakistan Super League season 8 festival will start today. The colorful opening ceremony of PSL 8 will be held at Multan Stadium, after which defending champions Lahore Qalandars and host Multan Sultans will compete in the opening match.
Videos of the players and coaches have been shared on PSL’s social media accounts, in which the players and coaches have expressed their excitement for the thrilling matches.
All the arrangements have been completed for the colorful opening ceremony of the biggest sports festival in Pakistan. Renowned artists Sahir Ali Baga, Aima Baig, Shay Gul, Asim Izhar and Faris Shafi will perform their vocal magic in the opening ceremony of PSL 8.
PSL 8 Anthem, Singers names revealed
According to PCB, the gates of Multan Stadium will be opened at 2 PM, the first and unique opening ceremony of its kind will start at 6 PM while the match will start at 8 PM.

In a video shared on PSL’s Twitter handle, the players and coaches have anticipated exciting matches against the arch-rivals. Most of the players described the matches of Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar, Quetta as sensational.
Regarding the opening match, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi says that being the defending champion, he is very excited, will start well in the event, will try to knock out the top order of Multan Sultans early.

On the other hand, Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan says that Shaheen Afridi and Haris are top class bowlers and one has to make a strategy against them and play boldly.
