Ramiz Raja Had a Moment of Blunder Amid All Good News

He confirmed New Zealand cricket is rescheduling its Pakistan tour which it abandoned last month on security grounds.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja is having busy days and yesterday was one of them when he made a blunder amid giving good news to the nation.

PCB chairman briefed the Senate Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination on Thursday where he went candid.

He confirmed New Zealand cricket is rescheduling its Pakistan tour which it abandoned last month on security grounds.

PCB chairman said the work on the recommencement of cricket at the school level will soon begin.

Ramiz Raja explained the cycle that 90% of ICC’s revenue comes from Indian markets and PCB gets 50% funding from ICC.

Ramiz told the Senate panel an affluent businessman from Karachi is ready to give a blank cheque to PCB if Pakistan triumphs over India in T20 World Cup.

Moment of blunder

The ex-commentator, who also ran a YouTube channel, had a moment of realization when he learned about the resignation of the English Cricket Board (ECB) chairman.

He immediately took to his Twitter to break the news but then realized that he is now the chief of the cricket board and no more an analyst.

He immediately deleted it and tendered an apology.
