A promising start for the new Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja as he has increased the salaries of 192 contractual first-class players and appointed two ace cricketers as the coaches of the national side.
Ramiz Raja was elected as the PCB chairman today and he addressed the media right after assuming the charge to reveal short-term and long-term plans.
Before the T20I World Cup, the new chairman announced the names of Mathew Hayden and Vernon Philander as the head coach and bowling coach of the national side respectively.

The expense of both foreign coaches will be borne by a private bank under the public-private partnership (PPP) model.
Similarly, Ramiz Raja has increased the salaries of each of 192 first-class contractual players by Rs 100,000.
The official asserted that results of his decisions will be visible within the next 6 months.
