Senior Journalist Wants Govt to Aid Legendary Cricketer

Rauf Klasra expressed his thoughts that it has been a tragedy that the Pakistani government doesn’t pay attention to the heroes

Senior journalist, Rauf Klasra, drew the attention of the government in regards to Pakistani legendary cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz who needs medical assistance.

Sarfaraz Nawaz gained popularity after he single-handedly demolished the Australian cricket team in 1979.

Taking to his Twitter handle, a senior journalist posted a video of Sarfaraz Nawaz in which he looked severely ill, moving with a help of a walker.

Rauf Klasra expressed his thoughts that it has been a tragedy that the Pakistani government doesn’t pay attention to the heroes who tremendously contributed in their fields.

“PCB should release his pension dues & extend financial help to a bowler who taught Imran Khan how to swing ball”, he said.

Currently, Sarfraz Nawaz is residing in London with his family for the past many years and he is in dire need of medical assistance.

Earlier, the death news of veteran comedian Umer Sharif shaken his national and international followers as the government couldn’t arrange funds for him.

Just like Umer Sharif, the senior journalist pointed fingers at the government that their negligence wouldn’t be a reason for losing a legendary figure.

As the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ramiz Raja, has a golden opportunity to assist Sarfaraz Nawaz in his difficult times.
