Argentina striker Sergio Aguero has signed a two-year contract with FC Barcelona after parting ways with Manchester City and is hopeful to reunite with good old friend Lionel Messi. 

Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero will join the Club from 1 July after his contract with Manchester City expires. 

Interestingly, Aguero will reunite with his Argentina teammate and good friend Lionel Messi.

Not only teammates, but football fans are also equally excited about the reunion and expecting outstanding chemistry in near future.

During a press conference at Camp Nou, Sergio Aguero was unveiled as a Barcelona player.

Sharing his excitement over the reunion, Sergio Aguero is hopeful to reunite and share the ground alongside his good friend Lionel Messi next season.

 The management has confirmed that the player will sign a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season and his buyout clause is set at 100 million euros. 

Records show that Agüero played his last game for Manchester City in the recent Champions League final against Chelsea in Porto.

Internationally, the Argentina striker was part of the Argentine U-20 World Cup-winning squads in 2005 and 2007.

He has also won Olympic gold in Beijing in 2008 alongside Leo Messi.

Aguero has been part of Manchester City and Premier League champions for over a decade. 

However, the new team has slapped a 100 million euro ($122 million) buyout clause on the 32-year-old striker.

Responding to the uncertainty that Messi will be his teammate next ­season, Aguero said, “Let’s hope we play together, what happens with Leo is down to decisions that he will make with the club”.

Last week, club president Joan Laporta said that talks for Messi’s new contract were going well.
