Social media users demanded strict action against the two fast bowlers from PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja for politics and factionalism in the national cricket team.

He requested fans to support this team as this team will win us, the story is not over yet.

Haris Rauf tweeted a picture of himself with Babar Azam and wrote that you are our leader and will always be. Haris Rauf also used the same in his tweet.

Cricket fans and journalists termed the trend in favour of Babar Azam as a pad and demanded strict action against the two players.

Journalist Anees Hanif wrote in his tweet, “Disciplinary action should be taken against all these cricketers who are playing politics while trying to defend #BabarAzam by publicly posting on this #sochnabhimanah trend.”

Sports anchor Najeebul Hasnain wrote that if it is the idea of those who took action then what people would do?

Anees Hanif wrote in another tweet, “#BabarAzam bachao group trending on #sochnabhimanah trend like he is a dictator. Sad that cricketers who are part of the current squad have started the trend! Enough of this politics.”

Another netizen said, “I love my team and all the superstars but this trend of publicly campaigning for a man who is not bringing results must be censured by PCB. They all must be censured by PCB strictly. Such tactics should never be tolerated.”

Journalist Huzaifa Khan said, “Nobody should be greater than Pakistan be it Babar or any other, nothing is for granted it is Pakistan team if someone is not capable of doing it for country he should be replaced, no need to make it controversial by tweeting. #sochnabemanahai se Pehly #Harnanhihy pe zoor den.”
