Shahid Afridi sets new criteria for T20 players

The interim chief selector of Pakistan Shahid Afridi set new criteria for T20 players and said that he will not select those players who have a strike rate lower than 130 or 135 runs per 100 balls.

Shahid Afridi said that no T20 batter will be selected who have a strike rate lower than 135 in domestic cricket. He also urged the organisation of U19 and Shaheens tours with Pakistan cricket team.

Pakistan’s interim Chief Selector Shahid Afridi has expressed his dissatisfaction with the pitch for the ongoing second Test between Pakistan and New Zealand, despite having multiple conversations with the curators about his desired pitch conditions.

He also expressed dissatisfaction with the pitch for the ongoing second Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand being played at National Stadium Karachi (NSK).

He however said that the pitch was improved from the previous matches and Kiwis and England but more bounce will be better.
