Debonair Ramiz Raja Now Hollers as Political Commentator
Former cricketer debuted as a political commentator and regretted the dismissal of corruption cases in the Senate elections

Former Pakistani cricketer Ramiz Raja in a recent video made his debut as a political commentator and lamented the dismissal of corruption cases surrounding Senate elections.
Commenting on the current political situation in his recent video, Raja talked about the court ruling on the leaked video of Yousaf Raza Gillani’s son, Ali Haider Gillani, before the Senate elections.
He complained that the court didn’t disqualify perpetrator in the leaked video.
Raja questioned credibility of the court, asking who other than courts would decide on such cases.
“Our society and authorities prioritize criminals more than respectful and loyal citizens”.
Ramiz Raja is a former player of the Pakistani cricket team who started commentary after taking retirement.
He gained more popularity as a commentator than as a player.
The recent video depicts the 58-year-old cricketer who has decided to step into politics as well.
Interestingly, netizens have given mixed reactions to his views as some suggested that commenting on cricket was easier as compared to politics where one has to be very careful while expressing his thoughts.

Responding to it, PML-N leader Hina Pervez Butt wrote that Hafeez should concentrate on cricket and keep his mouth shut rather than commenting on politics.

Thereby, many have suggested Ramiz Raja that, despite his successful background in cricket, he should stay away from politics to upheld his reputation as a cricket commentator.
