Sohaib Maqsood, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, and Azam Khan make up the middle order of the national side in the T20 World Cup.

The selection of these inexperienced players for the mega event had already surprised Pakistani fans as several potential batsmen like Shoaib Malik, Fakhar Zaman, Sharjeel Khan, and others were dropped.
