After beating former US President Barack Obama in the record pertaining to most liked profile photo on Facebook, world-renowned footballer Lionel Messi has another challenge in the form of Copa America and many are predicting that it could be his career’s last tournament.
Although the 33-year-old footballer had been fortunate enough to live a decorated career with Barcelona, however, winning Argentina a cup remains one of his biggest aspirations of all time.
The Copa America is scheduled from June 13 to July 10 and it has been handed over to Brazil in emergency after Colombia and Argentina were dropped as co-hosts.
Argentina will begin its campaign against Chile at the Nilton Santos stadium in Rio de Janeiro today.
The tournament will feature 10 teams coming from South America, Qatar, and Australia.

Moreover, Copa America is another opportunity for Messi to prove himself not only as the most liked person on Facebook but also as a great footballer by winning the trophy for his team.
In contrast to the new challenge, the six times Golden Shoe award winner Messi is perturbed about contracting the virus at the tournament as Brazil has so far reported more than 400,000 deaths due to the coronavirus.
Some 11 players were tested positive upon arrival in Brazil for the tournament.
