Will Lionel Messi Checkout as One-Club Player This Year?

After the scandal of ‘Barcagate’ went viral, media platforms raised questions about the future of  Argentine footballer Lionel Messi to continue as a one-club player while the club’s management has expressed disaffiliation with scandal.

Earlier, Former FC Barcelona President Joseph Maria Bartomeu was arrested by the police for an investigation in the Barcagate scandal.

In addition to it, Messi received criticism after a video captioned “@leomessi making time for the police,” by the club went viral for giving autographs to the police officers, and an allegation was imposed against the player framing the act.

However, Football Club Barcelona has already denied all allegations related to the scandal but later Spanish newspaper El Mundo broke the news and brought back attention to the club.

Last year, Messi quoted in an interview that he will concentrate on his future plans as soon as the contract ends.

On the other hand, Sevilla FC Sporting Director Monchi remained optimistic about Messi to continue his journey with the club.

The decision to quit would bring an era to end as a 13-year-old boy arrived from Argentina with growth hormone deficiency and after two decades, the same guy was trained to become one of the best footballers in the world.
