Dedication Lands Shahanawaz Dahani in Central Contract

Multan Sultans champion and young pacer Shahanawaz Dahani, who concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6 being the highest wicket-taker, has been rewarded for his hard work and dedication as he carved way into the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) central contract.

The PCB listed 20 players in the central contract in which 4 players were placed in category A, six cricketers in category B, 7 players in category C, and three players in the emerging category.

The fast bowler Dahani’s magic spellbound everybody and he has been placed in the emerging category in central contract.

The 12-month contract will be effective from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

Through Dahani’s outstanding performance, Multan Sultans outshone in the tournament as he took 20 wickets in 11 matches for his side and bagged the awards including the best bowler and emerging player of PSL 6.

Apart from Young Pacer Shahanawaz Dahani, Imran Butt and Usman Qadir have also secured spots in the contract’s emerging category.

It is worth mentioning here that Hassan Ali and Mohammad Rizwan have been promoted to category A due to their performance.

After PSL 6, Dahani, also known as Larkana-Express, had reached his hometown and received a warm welcome from the locals, friends, and his family.
