Sindh government has deployed the police of all districts in Garhi Khuda Bux on the occasion of the 13th death anniversary of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, however, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Cheif and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Head Maulana Fazlur Rehman will not attend the commemoration program.
All arrangements for the death anniversary program have been completed.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah would oversee the overall conditions of the mass gathering.
He had ordered Sindh Police Inspector General (IG) and district administration to formulate security and traffic plans.
As per the security plan devised by the Sindh government for the death anniversary of Benazir, some 17 SSPs, two each SPs and ASPs, and 43 DSPs will oversee security arrangements on the death anniversary program of Benazir Bhutto in which PDM leadership will also participate for the first time.
Interestingly, it would be the first time that Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif, would participate in the death anniversary program in Garhi Khuda Bux and probably address it too.
