Seven Killed, Several Injured in Peshawar Blast
The blast was reported at a madrasa in Dir Colony. The cause of the blast is not yet known
PESHAWAR: At least seven people are killed and several others injured in a blast near a seminary in Dir Colony in Peshawar Tuesday morning.
According to Rescue 1122, the injured have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital and another medical facility, where the condition of several of them is stated to be critical.
The blast was reported at a madrasa in Dir Colony. The cause of the blast is not yet known. Meanwhile, police and rescue officials reached the scene.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blast.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said on Monday that India could use the soil of Afghanistan to destabilize Pakistan.
