Women in Law to Get Awards For Their Services

The social media users also want to see proportionate representation of females in the higher judiciary

The government has announced to give awards to prominent women in the field of law in recognition of their services.

Parliamentary Secretary of Law and Justice Maleeka Bokhari announced on Twitter.

She said that the law and justice ministry is commencing the initiative for the first time.

For the inaugural awards, there are some 76 nominees in 22 different categories while the category of “Law Student of the Year” has also been included in awards.
