Amid monsoon rains during Eid-ul-Azha holidays, Pakistanis pumped up for vacationing and traveling instead of sitting indoors.
Eid holidays were announced from Tuesday to Thursday and the citizens grabbed the chance to whoop it up by traveling and enjoying the monsoon rains.
Due to heavy rains in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), land sliding, lake outbursts, and flash floods caused difficulties for the tourists as the roads were blocked for traffic flow.
The Karakoram Highway remained closed for three days for traffic due to land sliding in the GB district’s Tatta Pani and Lal Pari areas.
