Clumsy Thief Imprisoned For 4 Years in United Kingdom

The Suspect Forgot To Pick Bag Containing His Credentials

WEB DESK: A clumsy burglar who left a bag at the crime scene containing his credentials has been jailed for four years by a court in United Kingdom (UK).

The 43-year-old suspect Malcolm Pyke had broken into a garage in East Herrington, Sunderland, and stole cleaning equipment worth £150 on March 6.

As he was leaving the house, the suspect forgot to pick the bag he was carrying which contained letters bearing both his name and address.

This information helped lead police officers to his home where the robbed items were stored in the open air by the suspect.

The stolen equipment has been returned to its rightful owner.

During the investigation, Pyke also admitted another burglary, as well as two thefts of property during which he stole clothes from a house’s washing line.
