SPORTS DESK: Lionel Messi has broken three records in a match between Barcelona and Ferencvaros.
The first record is to be the only player to appear in 16 consecutive seasons of the Champions League tournament.
By striking a goal in the match against Ferencvaros, the Argentine also became the first player to score against 36 different teams of the Champions League.
The third record is that he has now scored 69 goals in the league’s group stage, which is more than any other player.
