Pakistan has expressed concern over over Indian military aggression and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
In this connection, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi wrote a letter to the UN Secretary General and the President of the Security Council.
It may be recalled that Pakistan had also drawn the attention of the United Nations through a dossier last month on the ongoing Indian barbarism in occupied Kashmir.
Yesterday, Kashmiris on both sides of the LoC and around the world, including Pakistan, observed a Black Day against India’s illegal occupation.
A complete strike was observed in the occupied valley and protests were also held against the illegal occupation of India.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that as long as Kashmiris do not get the right to self-determination, we Pakistanis will stand by them.
In his message, on the occasion of Black Day in Kashmir, the prime minister said that Pakistan and millions of Kashmiris celebrate October 27 every year as Black Day, which aims to liberate the occupied valley from Indian oppression.
Condemning the Indian occupation, the premier said that today was a reminder of the countless sacrifices of Kashmiris who laid down their lives against Indian rule.

He said that India’s illegal move was aimed at suppressing the Kashmiri people from their legitimate rights under which they want to decide their own future.
Paying homage to the Kashmiri people, women and children, the prime minister said that the long-standing dispute over Kashmir has been on the agenda of the Security Council since January 1948.
Imran further said that despite the UN recognizing the resolutions of the Security Council, the promises made to the Kashmiris turned out to be false. He said that on August 5, 2019, India violated international law by taking unilateral action.
He further said that India was constantly trying to get the international community to abandon the aspirations of Kashmiris and Security Council resolutions. Indian rulers are ruling under the ideology of RSS, he added.
Elaborating further on Indian atrocities, the prime minister claimed that space for Muslims or other minorities was being restricted in India under extremist ideologies. The Bharatiya Janata Party is resorting to more brutal methods to stifle the voice of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
