Special Assistant of the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Sania Nishter has announced that the registration of low-income families and shopkeepers under the Ehsas Ration Programme.
The SAMP took to Twitter and shared an URL link of web for registration.

Replying to the queries of followers on the social media, she said that within four weeks of registration on Ehsas Ration Portal the families will be sent text messages via 8171 about their eligibility.

The special assistant said that the programme will be implemented from the middle of next month.

Sania Nishter said that only one member of a family can apply for the programme. The applicant should enter his/her computerised national identity card (CNIC) and mobile number in the application form.

She said that only the registered member of a family can buy subsidised food items from a shop.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced the Ehsaas Ration program for the deserving people.
The programme will provide 30 per cent discount on pulses, flour, ghee, and cooking oil for next six months.
