Will not work in a position less than PCB chairman: Shoaib Akhtar
Says he was offered to become head coach after Musbah-ul-Haq's resignation.
Pakistan’s former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has said that he would not work in any position less than the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
In an interview with a private TV channel, Shoaib Akhtar revealed that when Misbah-ul-Haq resigned from his position, the board had offered him a head coach, but he refused to accept the post.
The former speed star said: “I have always dreamed of staying on top. If I worked on a position in the board (PCB), that would not be less than the chairman of PCB.”
He said that if he became PCB chief, he would make the cricket board a commercial institution.
