Deep-Sea Research in South China Sea Disclosed

On the occasion of World Oceans Day, 85-year-old Wang Pinxian, one of China’s top marine geologists, told that over the past 10 years, their deep-sea research in the South China Sea is unprecedented.

China launched the deep-sea research mission in the South China Sea in 2011, with more than 700 researchers taking part.
