Around 30 disabled persons participated in a wheelchair-marathon in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern of the Gaza Strip.
The race was organized in connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The participants were those who had lost their limbs in different attacks by Israeli forces in the Gaza strip.

As per the data of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, some 2.1% of Palestinians are part of the disabled group of 93,000 people living in the Gaza strip.
