The city of lights Karachi has been popular for its food and the coronavirus pandemic changed the definition of ‘normal’ for many. A chef from Gilgit-Baltistan residing in Karachi has introduced a mobile restaurant on his Qingqi rickshaw.
The menu of the mobile restaurant includes Chinese, continental, and fast food.
Muhammad Haroon had been associated with some reputable restaurants in Karachi but became jobless after the lockdown was imposed in the country.
Unemployed, he started selling noodles at a stall in the Mahmoodabad area of Karachi.
Shortly after, he opened a restaurant in his Qingqi rickshaw and surprised foodies by providing same taste and quality served at other high-end restaurants and that too at much cheaper rates.
