A two-day mango festival was organized by Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA), Mango Research Institute (MRI) Multan, and Centaurus mall management in Islamabad.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Punjab Agricultural Minister Syed Hussain Jahanian Gardezi.
The exotic fruit is being cultivated on 1.7 million acres in Punjab province which yields about 1.7 million tonnes per annum.
The festival displayed 160 varieties of mangoes from all over the country.
