Why People Celebrate 23rd March as ‘Pakistan Resolution Day’?
The nation celebrates 23rd March as ‘Pakistan Resolution Day‘ which holds great significance in the history of the country as a resolution was tabled by Maulvi Fazlullah at the annual meeting of the Muslim League in Lahore’s Manto Park under the chairmanship of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in 1940.
It was after this resolution that All India Muslim League started a movement for a separate homeland for Muslims living in the sub-continent and after seven years of constant struggle and compromises, Pakistan came into being.
