10 Kashmiris martyred in two days in IIOJK
Ten Kashmiris were martyred in two days in IIOJK following the barbarism of the Indian occupation forces in Srinagar, Palwama and Baramulla.
SRINAGAR: Ten Kashmiris have been martyred in two days in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) following the barbarism of the Indian occupation forces in Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred four more youth in the Srinagar and Pulwama districts of the IIOJK, today.
The troops martyred two youths during a cordon and search operation in the Soura area of Srinagar and the other two in the Awantipora area of Pulwama district. The operations were going on till the last reports came in.
On the other hand, Indian troops launched a massive cordon and search operation in the Bagyaldara area of the Poonch district. Meanwhile, a 50-year old woman was killed while crossing the railway track in the Qazigund area of Islamabad district.
Indian troops in another act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youths in Baramulla district on May 25.
The troops martyred the youth during a violent cordon and search operation in the Pattan area of the district. Earlier, one Indian policeman was killed in an attack in the same area.
Yesterday, a shutdown was observed for the second consecutive day, today, in Srinagar city and Tral area of Pulwama against the Indian court’s unjust verdict of awarding life imprisonment to illegally detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik.
Shops and other business establishments were closed in Maisuma, Abi Guzar, Lal Chowk, downtown areas of Srinagar and in Tral town.
Indian police had used brute force and fired shells on anti-India and pro-freedom demonstrations in Maisuma and other areas of Srinagar on Thursday.
Scores of people, including women, assembled at Yasin Malik’s residence at Maisuma, a short distance from Lal Chowk city centre, and raised slogans in support of the Hurriyat leader.
Indian forces were deployed in strength in several areas of the territory to thwart anti-India protests.
Meanwhile, Indian police during house raids arrested 10 youth on charges of anti-India sloganeering and protests in Maisuma on Wednesday.
