US President Joe Biden hedged against his government’s move of abrupt departure from Afghanistan but left behind several questions unanswered.
In an address to the nation on Tuesday, Biden defended his decision of ending a two-decade-long war in Afghanistan saying they had achieved the purpose 10 years ago when Al-Qaeda Head Osama Bin Laden was killed in 2011.
He said that the war cost $300 million or PKR 50 billion a day since 2001.

Biden’s withdrawal plan highly motivated by celerity has left many US citizens, politicians, and allies in a dungeon.
Biden defended himself saying that the withdrawal plan was formulated by his predecessor Donald Trump.

At this, questions have been raised that Biden is at the helm at the time of pullout and could have fixed the flaws in the plan.
The social media users have questioned the US policymakers on the extension of stay in Afghanistan despite meeting the goal.
They said that the taxpayer money was burnt for a decade, stating that the US should have pulled out of Afghanistan when Osama Bin Laden was killed.
The analysts said the two-decade-long Afghan war is the priciest episode of gory for the US as it cost a monumental $2 trillion to its economy.
