After attending online meetings for more than one year amid the covid-19 pandemic in the world, not only people but Zoom CEO Eric Yuan himself is tired of the application and discussion process.

While address to the virtual audience at the Wall Street Journal’s (WSJ) ­CEO Council Summit, Eric Yuan claimed that he is experiencing Zoom Fatigue as he recalled attending 19 back-to-back meetings in April last year.

Yuan mentioned that he no longer schedule meetings in a row as it loses one’s ability to perform and concentrate.

The 51-year-old entrepreneur founded Zoom company in 2011 which wasn’t popular until the coronavirus pandemic hit the world and people were forced to shift to work from home.

Today, the worth of Zoom CEO Eric Yuan is $13.2 billion and he is listed as 133rd billionaire according to Forbes statistics 2021.

Online meetings using various platforms were in use and many employees working for international clients communicated via those tools.

However, the significance of these applications including Skype, Zoom, Google Meet, and others rose when the covid-19 pandemic hit, globally affecting millions of lives and limiting people to adapt work from home option.

Like Zoom CEO who is bored of online meetings, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella revealed last year at the WSJ CEO Council that he too had meeting fatigue.

According to Microsoft CEO, work from home requires more discipline and time management and people asked to do so should make better plans to balance home and work life.
