Burhan Muzaffar Wani, who was martyred by the Indian Army in a fake encounter in the Kokernag area of Kashmir on July 6, is still alive in the hearts of Kashmiris for infusing new life to the freedom movement.

In his last video, he addressed the Kashmiri youth and asked them to disrupt cordons and help the freedom fighters escape, whenever they can, by hurling stones at Indian forces.
His death was a watershed moment in the occupied territory and since then, more and more youngsters are disappearing into woods to imitate his footsteps.
