Clashes in Afghanistan Claim Life of Photojournalist Danish Siddiqui
He started his career as a news correspondent and then his interest switched to photojournalism
The insurgency in Afghanistan following the withdrawal of US has taken the life of an Indian photojournalist Danish Siddiqui.
He was currently deployed in Kandahar in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan’s Ambassador to India Farid Mamundzay expressed deep condolences on Danish’s tragic demise.
Deeply disturbed by the sad news of the killing of a friend, Danish Seddiqi in Kandahar last night. The Indian Journalist & winner of Pulitzer Prize was embedded with Afghan security forces.
