Dialogue among Palestinian factions in Cairo is ‘positive’, says senior Hamas official

A dialogue among Palestinian factions in Cairo has been “positive”, senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan told the Palestinian group’s Al Aqsa TV on Sunday, though he added that he did not want to rush to any conclusions.

Hamdan also said that Hamas had not received any new written proposals regarding a possible ceasefire in Gaza, where the group has been battling Israeli forces for more than a year.
