Hamas and Palestinians has different demands from Israel

The prime reason that the war in Gaza continues is because both Hamas and Palestinian authority has different demands from the Israeli govt.

According to International Federation of Red Cross President Kate Forbes told Reuters in Manila that ceasefire is not possible till all the sides reach a mutual point of agreement, which unfortunately still elusive as Hamas wants an immediate ceasefire from Israel, meanwhile Palestinian govt is asking for the release of is prisoners.

However Israel is still asking for the unconditional return of hostages from Hamas before any ceasefire, added Forbes.

She said being an aid organization their primary focus is to ensure that when it (ceasefire) happens, we can give the aid that’s necessary. “We desperately need a political solution that will allow us to have a ceasefire to get aid in”.

And so they need to do their jobs so I can do my job,“ said IFRC President.
