Iranian President meets with Hamas deputy chief al-Hayya in Qatar

Iranian president Massoud Pezeshkian met with Khalil al-Hayya, the deputy chairman of Hamas’s political bureau, in Qatar, N12 reported Thursday morning.

Al-Hayya is the second-highest-ranking official in the organization’s political bureau after Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

The meeting comes of the heels of killing of Hasan Nasrallah and Iran’s missile attack on Israel.

It must be noted that Iranian President met with Qatari Emir before his meeting with Khalil al-Hayya in which Qatar’s leadership urged for immediate ceasefire in the region.

Israel has already cautioned Iran that it will avenge the missile attack on its territory which had happened on Tuesday night.
