“Mother is Waiting”: Israeli Hostages’ Mothers Stage Silent Demonstration to Mark 9 Months Since Abduction

Tuesday evening, July 9th at the Hostages’ Square, mothers of the Israeli hostages participated in a quiet demonstration called “Mom is Waiting.”

The event marked nine months since their children were kidnapped, a statement issued by Hostages Forum disclosed.

For nine minutes (symbolizing nine months), a group of mothers sat silently in the center of the square. They wore their children’s shirts and placed empty chairs in front of them. On each chair, a personal item representing their loved one and their home was displayed.
