Several Pakistani Hindus are desperate to leave India right now as they are fed up with living hand-to-mouth
One of the leading Indian newspapers, Times of India, has finally reported the return of Hindus back to Pakistan, their homeland, after being disappointed with living conditions in the neighboring country.
The newspaper quoted the views of these Hindus fleeing back to Pakistan that they came to India for a better life but found no means of support for themselves.
“The pandemic has robbed them of their livelihood”, it read.

Several Pakistani Hindus are desperate to leave India right now as they are fed up with living hand-to-mouth.
The article mentioned that Pakistan High Commission spokesperson Khawaja Maaz Tariq informed that nearly 1,288 Pakistani Hindus have returned to the country in March.
This isn’t a new phenomenon, minorities in both countries used to migrate between the states, however, this is a rare instance when an Indian daily admits that the return is due to poor living conditions.
Families from India are returning to the land, they hailed from, in large numbers as the neighboring state suffered badly from pandemic.
It is also revealed that despite pandemic, a major cause of return is the ill-treatment they faced in India.
