Retailers Batten Down in Fear of Post-Election Turbulence

WEB DESK: Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Target and many other stores have covered their outlets for the expected post US election unrest.

According to the spokesperson ofTiffany, they chose to cling protection as they are intending to remain open where ever possible for their customers.Earlier this year, stores in the US were demolished and sabotaged during the havoc over the death of George Floyd, an Afro-American man killed during an arrest after a store clerk alleged he had passed a counterfeit $20 bill in Minneapolis.

However, American multinational retail corporation Walmart last week removed guns and armaments from thousands of store displays in fear of the possible unrest.

To shield the stores, owners are in the same aisle, sharing details of precautions, posting additional guards, and consultations with police officials to assess potential post-election violence.
