Thai PM ‘Did a Trump’ by Spritzing Sanitizer on Reporters
Some strange gestures were witnessed during a press conference as Thai PM sprayed sanitizer on reporters to avoid tough questions
In a recent press conference at the Government House in Bangkok, Thai Prime Minister (PM) Prayut Chan-o-cha surprised reporters and journalists after spraying sanitizer on them while holding surgical mask onto his face to eschew questions regarding cabinet appointments.
The retired army general was questioned about list of potential candidates qualifying for cabinet positions and update on three imprisoned ministers.
PM became frustrated and thwarted his own press conference while dodging some tough questions from the reporters.
ABC News tweeted a video of a bizarre situation in which Thai PM can be seen spritzing disfectant on reporters to end the press conference when he was questioned regarding cabinet appointments.

Interestingly, history recalls that the former military leader has been eminent from making comical remarks to having an unstudied attitude towards reporters.
Popular for his dubious behavior, the 66-year-old PM had previously pointed towards a person in the picture and walked away from the press at an event in 2018.
Besides spraying sanitizer on reporters, Thai PM flung the peel of banana at a cameraman after being asked to face the camera in 2014.
Former US President Donald Trump too had a history of engaging in barbs with media representatives.
