After Princess Diana and Charles’ damp squib love story, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, admitted in an interview along with husband Prince Harry that she suffered dejection during her days spent at Buckingham Palace which is ruled by a woman nearly for seven decades.
Pushed towards suicidal thoughts at one point in her life as a British royal, Meghan divulged some untold stories associated with the Windsors and the Palace during her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In the interview that aired on CBS, an American commercial broadcast television and radio network, Harry and Meghan got vocal for the first time since they stepped down from royal duties.
As per details, Meghan described herself as a victim of an image-obsessed Buckingham Palace and revealed that the skin-color of her son was the center of conversation for the Palace.
Meghan also confessed when she was pregnant with her son, Archie, she was told that he wouldn’t be made a prince and thus wouldn’t receive security.
Meghan said she had a “clear and real and frightening thought” about suicide while she was a working member of the royal family.

As per details, Meghan specifically complained of how lonely and isolated life became after her marriage.
She said she wasn’t even allowed to go out for lunch with friends at times because she was too heavily covered in the media.
“It was particularly difficult putting on a happy face while suffering in silence”, the duchess recalled.
Aired a day before International Women’s Day, the interview unveiled the life of women inside the British Palace including that of Diana’s.
On a lighter note during the interview, Harry and Meghan also revealed that their second child is going to be a girl.
While sharing his part, Prince Harry, maintained that he was shunned by his father, Prince Charles, the heir apparent to the throne.
Harry, while pointing towards the life his mother Diana led, maintained that there has been a culture of suffering in silence in the royal family, but the racist abuse that Meghan had to face made things more difficult.
