The country openly shared pictures of religious relic Hajr-e-Aswad and allowed female Muslim workers to serve inside Masjid-al-Haram

After spending centuries in conservative boundaries, Saudi Arabia is now steadily moving forward to compete for modernism and the world is witnessing its changing face.

The recent two instances advocated the cropping up change in the largest country in Arabian Peninsula as its government shared the pictures of religious relic Hajr-e-Aswad and allowed female Muslim workers to serve inside Masjid-al-Haram.

Making it historic first, the Saudi Arabian government released high-resolution pictures of the Black Stone of Holy Ka’aba that were taken by the Engineering Studies Department of the Reasah Alharmain.

According to a Saudi official, the images are up to 49,000 megapixels and it took 50 working hours to process 1,050 photos.

The official shared details that the stone is a piece of Jannah and the first-ever high-resolution pictures reflect how beautiful paradise would be.

On the other hand, female volunteers have been introduced by the government in proper uniforms to serve the pilgrims during the holy month of Ramazan.

Additionally, the government allowed women to enroll in military courses, and photos of a Saudi female police officer supervising Umrah pilgrims in Ramazan were shared by the Saudi press agency.

Saudi author and commentator Ali Shihabi shared the photo of the police officer, saying it was an “amazing change for Saudi society.”

Whereas, the first military wing for women in the armed forces was launched in 2020.
