A young Indian couple welcomed twin brothers on March 23, 1997, in Uttar Pradesh, who stayed together for a long time and became software engineers but died after losing the covid-19 battle at 24.
The couple had named the twins Joefred Varghese Gregory and Ralfred George Gregory.
Gregory Raymond Raphael, the father of the twins, said, “Whatever happened to one, it happened to the other”.
He added it was since their birth and Gregory had told his wife that Ralfred was also not going to return either after they heard the news of Jeofred’s death.
The death of the twin brothers happened with a difference of hours on May 13 and 14.

Both twins studied computer engineering together and both worked at a Hyderabad-based company.
The father said that they were treating both of them at home due to an increase in coronavirus cases in Meerut.
However, when oxygen levels dropped below 90, they were shifted to a private hospital on the advice of doctors.
Moreover, the father said that the twins had a lot of plans and they wanted to give their parents everything back from money to happiness.
He added that before the twin brothers died, they were planning to leave for Korea and then perhaps to Germany for work.
Before getting positive reports, the family initially treated the twins at home as they thought it was fever but they succumbed to the covid-19.
“Our family is broken. Covid took away my sons who had never harmed anyone in their entire lives,” Mr Raphael said.
