The assaulters fled after smacking and he was shifted to a nearby hospital.

The media fraternity raised its voice against the attack besides US Embassy.

In contrast, the embassy gave the go-by to Israel’s attack on numerous buildings in Gaza including media houses like Al Jazeera.

On May 15, Israeli airstrikes leveled the Al-Jalaa tower, 11-storey building that housed the offices of Al Jazeera and AP in the Gaza Strip.

The tower targeted by Israel was among the very few that enjoyed lavish uninterrupted services. The demolished Al-Jalaa tower hosted many residential apartments and offices of media outlets.

The bombings resulted in the loss of media infrastructure in Gaza and numerous journalists were also killed in the airstrikes but the US Embassy mysteriously kept its lips buttoned.
