کراچی میں سڑکوں اور پیدل چلنے والے پلوں کی بگڑتی ہوئی صورتحال نے ملک کے سب سے بڑے شہر میں شہریوں کی حفاظت کے بارے میں تشویش پیدا کردی ہے۔ نیوز360 کو راشد منہاس روڈ پر الہ دین پارک کے قریب پیدل چلنے والے ایک پل کی ویڈیو موصول ہوئی ہے۔ اس ویڈیو میں پل کی حالت زار دکھ رہی ہے جو پیدل چلنے والوں خصوصا بچوں کے تحفظ اور حفاظت کے لئے سنگین خطرہ ہے۔
پیدل چلنے والوں کے لیے بنایا گیا یہ پل حکام سے التجا کرتا رہا ہے کہ وہ اس کی حالت بہتر بنائیں اِس سے قبل کے کوئی حادثہ رونما ہو۔
یہ پل متعدد راہگیروں کے لیے ایک محفوظ گزر گاہ رہا ہے جس میں ایسے بچے بھی شامل ہیں جن میں الہ دین پارک کا رخ کیا جاتا ہے لیکن اب یہ کئی سالوں سے بری حالت میں ہے۔

اِس پل کے دونوں اطراف لگائی جانے والی چار چار فٹ اونچی حفاظتی جالیاں غائب ہو چکی ہیں اور اُن کی خالی جگہ سے بچوں کے گر جانے کا خطرہ ہے۔
راشد منہاس کے قریب رہائش پزیرافراد روزانہ کی بنیاد پر اِس پل کو راشد منہاس روڈ کو عبور کرنے کے لئے استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ شہری کو ویڈیو میں کہتے سنا جاسکتا ہے کہ حکومت اور انتظامیہ بوسیدہ پل کے معاملے پر توجہ دے۔
