As the US Dollar continues to gain strength, different currencies across the world depreciated against it but the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) has held on to its strength until this time of the year.
Senior journalist Kamran Khan shared a comparative chart on his Twitter handle which showed the movement of currencies against the greenback since the start of 2021.
The chart also enlisted major currencies including Turkish Lira, South Korean Won, and Singapore Dollar.
Though currently under some pressure PKR has pretty much held on to its strength amongst international currencies year to date. This year PKR has depreciated 2.5%, while plenty of regional and other currencies dropped significantly against the USD. See Reuters table: pic.twitter.com/fWnc7QLq9v
