An advocate of Rawalpindi has filed a rum petition against the hawkers selling items in blaring voices and violating the Loudspeaker Act.
The petitioner Anwar Dar told News360 that the pushcart vendors have made the lives of the citizens miserable with their loud announcements.
Anwar Dar expressed that the hawkers of different items and beggars have been using loudspeakers on a daily basis that is severely harmful to the elderly, patients, and students.

He said that the vendors have been blatantly violating the Loudspeaker Act in the city and cantonment areas.
“The violation on daily basis is disturbing the well-being of the citizens”, he added.
He also demanded the police and administration take immediate steps against the loud street vendors.
