Why Hina Pervaiz Butt Should Commend Fawad Chaudhry?

PML-N MPA Hina Pervaiz Butt was advised to give due credit to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry for giving screen time to the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly on PTV News.

PTV News broadcasted the speech of the Opposition Leader Shahbaz Sharif delivered at the public rally of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Sunday.

It was a rare sight in the country as the state-owned television hasn’t been witnessed giving screen time to an opposition leader except for the national assembly.

Seeing Shahbaz Sharif on PTV, PML-N MPA Hina Parvez Butt got surprised and shared it on her Twitter handle.

However, she also wished PTV Producer Aoun Sahi may not lose his job for allowing it to air.

Aoun Sahi replied to the tweet and asked the PML-N lawmaker to give credit where it is due.

Earlier in 2018, Fawad Chaudhry had announced to end censorship from PTV when he assumed the charge as the information minister.
