Pak-Turk TV Series to Hunt Talent in Pakistan

The TV series on the life of the legendary warrior Sultan Salahuddin al-Ayyubi will be shot in Turkey and is scheduled to run over 3 seasons

In another collaboration, Pakistan and Turkey have joined hands to produce a TV series on the life of the legendary warrior Sultan Salahuddin al-Ayyubi, and for this, they will audition the talent from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. 

Sultan Salahuddin, popularly known as an ambassador of peace, humanity, and tolerance, was a military general who defeated the crusaders in Jerusalem.

He was respected and loved equally both by Muslims and non-Muslims around the world.

In the co-production, Turkey’s Akli Films will work with Pakistan’s Ansari & Shah Films and some of the prominent figures of the latter will be part of the team.

TV Series Audition Talent

The series will feature actors from Turkey and Pakistan and for that, the teams will start the hunt.

In this regard, the team of Turkish’s Akli Films has announced to scout for talent from October 28 to November 1 in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

The TV series will be shot in Turkey and is scheduled to run over 3 seasons and it will be dubbed in Turkish and Urdu languages in the initial phase.

Addressing to media, producer Emre Konuk said, “The project is a great gain for Turkey in the cultural and economic fields”.

Moreover, actor Adnan Siddiqui along with Humayun Saeed, Dr Kashif Ansari, and Dr Junaid Ali Shah are also part of the historical Salahuddin Ayyubi series.

During an interview, Adnan revealed, “The series focuses on the Quran, history and religious harmony. How the Quran can be used effectively to govern empires that are embraced by people of all religions”.
