Jemima Goldsmith has taken a commendable step to help flood-hit Pakistanis. She offered her new film for a private screening by auction before its release. The highest bidder will get to watch the movie with 20 of their friends.
She wrote on Twitter, “In aid of Pakistan’s flood victims. We are auctioning a private screening in London for up to 20 people of our film What’s Love Got To Do With It? See you there.”

The online auction for the private screening of Jemima Goldsmith’s film is going on. So far 13 bids have been placed and the current bid is 20,500 British pounds.

Earlier, Goldsmith appealed for help to flood victims in Pakistan.
Jemima appealed to people to give their flood relief donations to the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments’ banks and she recommended submitting their donations to Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) Al-Khidmat Foundation.
One third of Pakistan is underwater.
33 MILLION PEOPLE (1 in 7 Pakistanis) are affected.
2,000 + people so far killed, one third of whom are believed to be children.
