Free fall of rupee: Economists and journalists came hard on Finance Minister

After the free fall of rupee in interbank and open market, economists and analysts exploded against Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for artificially blocking value of dollar for 4 months and delaying IMF program for 3 months.

Former Chairman FBR Shabar Zaidi, Economic Analysts Uzair Younis, Khurram Hussain and Ismail Khan have severely criticized Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

He said that this is a slap on face of intellectually corrupt economists, who were saying that everything is fine and Pakistan is doing very well. He said, “How will the poor survive with 35 to 40 percent inflation?”
